Nearly three years in the making,
Breaking the Word Barrier: Stories of Adults Learning to
Read, a project of the Writers' Federation and New
Brunswick and Laubach Literacy NB, teams up 17 WFNB members
with 17 adult learning students and presents courageous and
moving stories of the challenges facing these adult
learners. The introduction is by former NB Lieutenant
Governor Hérménégilde Chiasson, with an afterword by poet
and biographer Greg Cook.
