Eligibility
Membership in the Writers' Federation of New Brunswick is
open to anyone with an interest in writers or writing in this
province, including teachers, students, librarians, publishers,
booksellers, and the general public. WFNB members are
writers active in every genre, as well as individuals and
institutions who are interested in or wish to support the aims
of the Federation.
Membership Fees
Although membership fees are necessary to keep us
operational, several categories keep membership within the reach
of any interested New Brunswicker. The basic annual fee to
belong to the WFNB is $40 per year, reduced to
$20 for university students and $10 for high
school students. A family membership costs $45, and an
institutional (such as a school, library, or local writing club)
$75. For those who REALLY want to earn a warm spot in our
hearts, there is the "sustaining member" ($100), the "patron"
($250) - and for those who tire of sending in a check every
single year, a lifetime membership (and a round of applause) can
be had for $1000.
The WFNB membership cycle is from April to April
of each year.

Our
Quarterly Newsletter, the NB Ink
WFNB produces its own quarterly newsletter,
New Brunswick ink.
Distributed free to all Federation members, this publication
provides the latest information on activities,
accomplishments, markets, contests, techniques, and matters
of interest to writers. Like the Federation itself, the
newsletter helps connect the often-isolated New Brunswick
writer with other writers in the province. In a recent
survey, the Federation members identified
New Brunswick ink as one of the
organization's most valuable services.
