Hello Nimbus friends and colleagues:
As some of you are by now aware, Nimbus is seeking
submissions for a collection of hockey-related non-fiction,
to be published in 2009. We're looking for contributions
from young and old, male and female, of all backgrounds and
experiences (i.e. even if you haven't even played hockey
before, we think you may be able to contribute). We are
looking only for non-fiction stories, told in an
entertaining fashion (so no historical lessons or purely
factual accounts of seminal games/events). What we ARE
looking for is included in the full guidelines, pasted
below.
To sweeten the pot, we will be awarding a $500 prize for the
best story, with $100 going to the runner-up. I do hope
you'll consider contributing--deadline is February 23.
