offering?
Hi Jean Paul
We only offer computer based or online courses for
isolated people.
We initially received a start up grant from the
Australian Government some 5 years ago. ($120,000). That helped us set up
courses online. Since then we have developed a relationship with a local
university which offered to support our computer system at no cost. They limit the time offered us. This is
not an ideal arrangement as we are not their core business.
We charge members a nominal fee for courses ie 3
courses for $20 Australian.
We are a not for profit organisation.
Hopefully this helps.

Hi, I have been hired as project manager for
the Université du troisième âge du Nord-Ouest (UTANO) du Nouveau-Brunswick,
Canada. The project is a study to identify a physical training course (model)
for the members (50 years+) of the organisation. Furthermore, I have to find a
funding model that would go along the physical training course offering. I have
a few questions that would be helpful in working this project. Does your
organization receive funding from your local, provincial, state, or federal
government in your Old Age Learning Activities offering? If so, on what basis is
the amount allowed? Do you have a foundation that helps financially in courses
offering? Any other information would be appreciated. How are your courses
offering financed? tuition only or a combination of different sources? Yours
Truly
