I have to say that of all the public talks I ahve ever given, this one was one of the most interesting and pleasant, and also relaxing... after the first few minutes of "stage fright"! I very much enjoyed your comments, your questions and answers... With your gracious personality, I am convince that each one of you will certainly do an excellent job in tourism! We especially talked about basic tools we use in astronomy starting with -our eyes. Many celestial objects are accessible to our eyes, such as the planets, satellites, a few nebulea, star clusters, the Andromeda Galaxy... -the Sky Chart which is as much important as a road map is to the traveler -Binoculars & Telescopes -astrophotography (Barn Door Tracker...) I also gave a short history of ASTRO CLUB BOREALIS, our local astronomy club I have to thanks Mr. Claude Mercier for allowing such a pleasant visit! ...and thank all of you for the great gifts: ...I won't loose my keys anymore and my coffee will be all the more delicious! |
